The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Javascript Engineers comfortable with both front and back end programming (ReactJS/Redux and NodeJS respectively). As a Full-stack engineer at BuyPower, you will be responsible for developing and designing front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.
Responsibilities - What You'II Do
• Develop visually appealing front-end website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
• Create functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
• Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile phones and responsiveness of application
• Work alongside graphic designers for web design features
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Design and develop effective APIs
Oversee and guide the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software
Qualifications - What we are looking out for
• Degree in Computer Science (optional but an advantage).
Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React/Redux and any other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Vue etc..
• Proficiency with NodeJS and any other server side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
