Role Requirements
To become a champion for every child, you will need:
• A University Degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Human Rights, Psychology, Sociology, International Law, or other related Social Science fields.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in social development planning and management, particularly in child protection-related areas.
• Experience in humanitarian contexts, notably in protracted humanitarian crises.
• Prior experience in program development in child protection-related areas within a UN system agency or organization would be a significant asset.
• Experience in a developmental context will be considered advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory. Basic knowledge and ability to speak one or two of the local languages common in the Northeast is beneficial. Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is a plus.
