The Federal Government has finally opened the application portal for Federal Teacher UBEC Recruitment 2025-2026 as earlier promised.
The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) is a federal government agency in Nigeria responsible for coordinating the implementation of the Universal Basic Education (UBE) programme.
The UBE programme was introduced in 1999 to provide free, compulsory, and universal basic education for every child of primary and junior secondary school age '. UBEC's main objective is to ensure that every Nigerian child has access to quality basic education.
The requirements for the Federal Teachers Recruitment 2025 in Nigeria are as follows:
1. Educational Qualifications:
a. Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
a. Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed)
b. Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
2. Age Limit: Applicants must not be more than 35 years of age.
3. Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed.

4. Teaching Specializations: Qualified to teach subjects such as English Language/Literature, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, and Technical/Technology Education.
5. Other Requirements:
a. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or any related field from a recognized institution
b. Completion of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program
c. Nigerian citizenship and a valid means of identification
d. Excellent communication skills in English Language
e. Computer literacy is an added advantage.
