Job Description
We are seeking a competent and experienced Registered Nurse to manage the site clinic at our facility in Mowe, Ogun State.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first aid, emergency care, health education, and preventive healthcare services to employees, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical attention and first aid for workplace injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as per medical protocols.
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions among employees, offering referrals where necessary.
- Conduct health screenings, medical check-ups, and wellness programs.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinic inventory.
- Collaborate with the HSE team to promote workplace health initiatives.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification with a valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or hospital settings.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations in Nigeria.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) procedures.
- Excellent record-keeping and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial work environments.
- Basic knowledge of first aid training & HSE policies.
