AWARFA-N is recruiting for State Coordinator
AWARFA-N wishes to invite interested and qualified individuals to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for the position of State Coordinator for AWARFA-N in Nigeria.
Responsibilities:
As a State Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating AWARFA-N's activities within your state and reporting back to the Board of Trustees. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1.Championing the mission and objectives of AWARFA-N within your state.
2.Identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders, including women involved in Animal Resources Farming and Agribusiness, government agencies, NGOs, and private organizations.
- 3.Organizing and facilitating training and capacity-building programs for women beneficiaries.
- 4. Establishing and maintaining partnerships with relevant organizations and institutions to support AWARFA-N's work.
- 5.Promoting networking and collaboration among women in the agricultural sector across all value chains in the state.
- 6.Collecting and submitting accurate data and providing regular updates on AWARFA-N's activities, achievements and challenges.
- 7.Contributing to the development of AWARFA-N's goals and implementing strategies for their achievement.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge and experience in Animal Resources Farming and Agribusiness.
Proven leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong networking and partnership-building abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in English and your local language.
- Demonstrated commitment to AWARFA-N's goals and the empowerment of women.
- Familiarity with the agricultural landscape and challenges in your assigned state.
- Availability to travel within the state and occasionally nationally or internationally as required.
